About Rachel Donaldson
I discovered yoga in 1998 and initially went along to help me cope with the impact on my body through my love of karate and rowing. I found that yoga really helped me keep my muscles long and flexible but I also found that yoga helped keep me strong and the relaxations sessions helped me eliminate stress. I fell in love with yoga and attended as many classes as I could, eventually giving up all my other sporting activities as yoga gave me all I needed and more.
In 2001, I decided that I really wanted to share my love of yoga with others so I signed up for the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course 1 leading onto the British Wheel of Yoga Diploma course – a total of 4 years training immersed in all aspects of yoga from philosophy to pranayama.
